I use the recommended setting I’ll go select Eastern time zone. Yeah and my network is a working Network and it’s now finished and it’s inside Windows 7 and it’s installed now of course you need to run the Windows Update also but before I do anything else are going to install the VirtualBox Edition that makes the Mouse better and seamless resizing of the screen and think that one so install what is called guest additions down here and take a few seconds before it shows up but it basically put in a CD in the CD ROM Drive for this VirtualBox and then it will run the software from the CD so the old PC essence is just finished installing Windows I guess so I want to run the VirtualBox Windows additions and that’s fine and I’ll just check this one that I want to trust it all the time so in future updates of VirtualBox I don’t have to check that I want to run it here and that was installing the VirtualBox additions in here so go ahead and reboot so now in Windows and of course I could choose another Drive in here I just going to remove that one because I don’t need the VirtualBox one.
If you’re outgrowing your shared web hosting or simply want more control, a managed or fully managed Virtual Private Server (VPS) is the next logical choice for your hosting needs. It gives you more freedom with root access to Apache and PHP, plus you can install an SSL certificate, as well as any type of software – all without the responsibility of a dedicated server.
If you are not already familiar with Linux system administration, you will need to devote a great deal of time to familiarizing yourself with all of the applications you're using and the CentOS operating system - you could pay someone else to set up your VPS for you, but that wouldn't help down the road when you need to update software and resolve administrative issues... (if you're not sure, go with a managed service)

Virtual Private Server Hosting or VPS Hosting is essentially a dedicated server within a shared hosting environment. With VPS Hosting, each customer can run their own virtualized operating system within a partition of a dedicated server. Even though multiple customers are on the same physical machine, VPS Hosting allows each customer's account/website to have all the capabilities of being on their own separate machine. This type of hosting offers advanced performance and flexibility with the ability to customize at an affordable price.

The applications using the response system like the one used in science or engineering can make use of unmanaged VPS hosting in a best way. When there are no skilled technicians to take over the charge of your server administration, it is always a best decision to go for unmanaged VPS hosting.
VPS hosting is like you are living in an apartment complex. It means that other people are living in the same building, but you have your own secure apartment. You will get more room and restrictions will be fewer as compared to living in a dorm. It also means that if your neighbour is misbehaving, it is the problem of owner of building, not yours.
In the world of web hosting, there are many options for how to manage the computers that run a website, and it can be difficult to figure out what might be best for you. Since enterprise websites require the full resources of a server (or multiple servers) to ensure optimal performance for the site’s users, it’s important to make sure the best hosting option is chosen. When deciding upon those options, the choice often comes down to one of two possible approaches: dedicated or virtual hosting. Should you use your own physical server dedicated solely to you, or should you use a virtual server, which uses software to emulate a physical server on a virtual host? Let’s look at the pros and cons of each option:
If your bandwidth usage is high and your website seems slow to perform, you may need more resources than a shared website hosting plan provides. Shared hosting means you share everything - so you're restricted in how big your website can grow, and your available resources (disk space, bandwidth, etc) can be affected by the traffic flow and bandwidth usage of other websites running on the same server.
The really good thing about the VirtualBox is that is completely free it even works on multiple versions. So if you had a Linux server you could actually also run VirtualBox same environment as this here so where it’s now booting Windows for the first time for real after installing it so put in the username I’ll just call this one Windows 7. I have to type in a password and a hint so same password cause I don’t need to put in a Windows key and since it’s so faster install I would just blow away this one when windows actually half-hour months won’t work any longer it’s all for testing anyway.
In a dedicated hosting plan, a client leases or rents a physical server from a hosting provider. With Dedicated hosting plans, the client has complete control of the physical server and access to all its resources. This is a good fit for companies that have websites that expect a high amount of traffic, that are running intensive CPU applications, and that are hosting enterprise CMS sites.
A VPN server is a machine on the internet that runs VPN software. A VPN client can connect to that server, and all data that travels between the client and the server is encrypted. If you wanted to connect to a website on the internet but didn’t want anyone, even your ISP, to see which site it was or the data your were sending, you could connect via a VPN. All an observer would be able to see is that you connected to the VPN server.
Stability and speed - the main advantages of running Debian as your web server OS. Significant speed benefits, bug tracking systems, and multiple architectures make it flexible and reliable. Easy upgrades, strict security, and a top-notch packaging system. Powered by over a thousand volunteers, Debian is proudly one of the most significant open-source community projects in history. Be part of the movement with Debian OS.
A virtual server and a dedicated server differ by the number of users that possess resources on a physical server. With a virtual private server, some of the resources are isolated for individual users, but there are multiple users on the same physical server. With a dedicated server, a single user has access to all of the resources of a physical server.
To break things down a bit, cloud VPS (Virtual Private Server) hosting is when a web hosting provider takes one massive server and partitions it up so that it can have several servers on it, each of which can run its own operating system and can be re-booted independently.  Sounds simple enough.  So what is the difference between managed VPS and unmanaged VPS?

In unmanaged VPS hosting, the user enjoys full freedom to control the web server. The user gets access to the remote web server and they get the administrative power of the server. Unmanaged VPS hosting thus give you complete administrative functions of the web server and the user gets the freedom to select the administrator who can control the server technically.
Another way you can customize your VPS to your specific needs is with your choice of Linux operating systems. Select from the best versions of Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora, Debian, Gentoo or Slackware. If you're in the middle of a project and want change to a different version or a different OS entirely, you can change and re-load your operating system on demand whenever you want!
At the end of the day, we know that your site’s success is dependent on it being up and running. This new feature also allows us to provide routine server maintenance, including security patches, operating system updates and more without affecting any of the sites on your server. Your Virtual Private Server is automatically provisioned with your choice of CentOS or Ubuntu, and a firewall. No more software overhead, no more slow servers. That means that you have total control and freedom to customize, optimize, and set up your VPS server to your exact needs. Whether you want Apache, NGINX, PHP, MySQL, custom services, or anything else, you're able to do so with our Cloud VPS servers.

It can varies a lot from VPS hosts to hosts. This can be a little confusing because unfortunately many hosting providers differ in their definition of “managed hosting”, and some providers have “semi-managed hosting”. So if you’ve determined that you need a managed VPS (which is positively the way to go if you are not comfortable with running a Linux server), you must contact your potential VPS service providers for the details or look at the specific tasks that your managed provider will and will not perform.
For a limited time, all VPS Hosting plans come with Launch Assist included free. Lightweight, fast and reliable - these are the core tenets of CentOS. It is one of the best Enterprise-level operating systems that aims for speed and stability, without cutting out security. Inspired by Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS is also a formidable option for VPS hosting. When in doubt, pick the go-to web server operating system around the world. Power, robustness, and flexibility guaranteed!
VPS users still have access to the same resources and features as they would have otherwise, and they still have the freedom to install any application and make changes to those applications. Since you are not actually sharing any hardware, you will not have to be concerned about the physical server maintenance and security. The hosting company will need to worry about this.
As you can see, there are plenty of benefits to using a VPS, but there’s still an issue we need to address – complexity. A lot of users might be put off from upgrading to VPS because they think it might be more complicated than using a regular hosting account. However, that’s not entirely accurate. Many hosts offer the choice of a managed VPS, and can take care of most of the work for you.
Perhaps the best way to approach the virtual server is the idea of a virtual machine. A VM allows you to run an emulation of a computer within your computer, drawing on the resources of the physical one –  disk space, RAM, CPU, etc. This tactic allows you to run an entirely separate operating system (OS) solely for the purposes of the VM, even if its type and version of OS are identical to what’s on your hardware.
You can host a basic web application, such as a blog or simple website in a VPC, and gain the additional layers of privacy and security afforded by Amazon VPC. You can help secure the website by creating security group rules which allow the webserver to respond to inbound HTTP and SSL requests from the Internet while simultaneously prohibiting the webserver from initiating outbound connections to the Internet. You can create a VPC that supports this use case by selecting "VPC with a Single Public Subnet Only" from the Amazon VPC console wizard.
